[WELCOME] to the official ARP of the Covenant website. This is the place for all of
your ARP of the Covenant needs. This site is here around the clock to ensure you have
the best source for new audio and video clips, gig schedules, and glorious band bio
info. [NEWS] 04/24/2008 - We at ARP of the Covenant would like to introduce to you some teaser material, manufactured in a basement in Verona, WI, and a Methodist Church in Minneapolis, MN. The teaser material is located in our DROP ZONE section, and it will eventually be non-teaser material on our upcoming album. The upcoming album is called Robot Western. Enjoy. 09/27/2007 - After a long hiatus, ARP of the Covenant will be performing at Isabella's in Dubuque, IA on November 10, 2007. More information is available on our CALENDAR page. 04/09/2007 - ARP of the Covenant continues to play gigs around the Minneapolis, Madison and Dubuque areas. Because of which, we have been getting some notice from the press, and we have posted a number of new reviews to the PRESS section of our site. Thanks to all for listening and writing. 04/09/2007 - Our FORUM section has been temporarily disabled, but we hope to have it back up and running soon. Those of you who had registered in the past will have to register again. We at ARP of the Covenant apologize for the inconvenience. 10/22/2006 - We are now a member of the My Space community, thanks to our drummer, Nick Zielinski. We have lots of friends and encourage more. Go here to check it out. 09/22/2006 - Madison, WI has opened its doors to us, and our first gig in this new home-town for Brad and Mark (not Nick... yet...) will be at the Cafe Montmartre on September 26th. Stephanie Rearick will be opening the show with a solo performance starting at 8pm. This event is a benefit concert for CUT: Teens and Self-Injury, a documentary by Wendy Schneider, and the cover will be $5. More information on the show and the film can be found here. 05/15/2006 - We have a new forum section available... just thought the web needed another one. Find it here. Another site change: we've moved our contact information to the bottom of our newly-added PRESS page. Lastly, we've added some gigs to our summer calendar. More information on our schedule can be found here. 03/18/2006 - Check out the new information on the PRESS page. Downloads, Reviews and more, and for your convenience all on one easy access location. We hope you dig it. 02/23/2006 - The album is finished, officially. The official CD Release Party will be coming soon. We are officially very happy, and we hope you are, too. 02/20/2006 - The website has had a major overhaul to reflect the excellent artwork on the album sleeve, designed by Shanan Galligan. As the insert text indicates, you'd be lucky to get him to design your sleeve. If you'd like to know more about Shanan, or his amazing design skillz, check out On Design Studios. 11/21/2005 - The CDs are in, and the artwork isn't far behind. We should have some pre-release CDs for sale at our upcoming December 3rd show at Chad's new club: Isabella's. 10/07/2005 - ARP of the Covenant is featured in the October issue of
Jazziz magazine. Several groups from select universities across the country have submitted material
to Jazziz magazine's October issue, featuring an article about contemporary jazz and improvisation
education. An excerpt of ARP of the Covenant's live performance of Nick Zielinski's composition entitled
"Mr. Li Poses with his American Birthday Cake" was chosen to appear on the accompanying CD, and a
write-up of the group is featured in the magazine itself. Previews of the write-ups for each group
can be found here.
-->09/01/2005 06/15/2005 - The album, yet to be named, is in its final stages of completion, with the imminent mixdown of five tunes just recently recorded.
